Chicago-- A day after committing to Arizona, the five-star prospect was named the MVP of the game while leading his West squad to a 110-99 win with a dunk-filled, 24-point, eight-rebound effort.
Aaron Gordon dunked his way to the McDonald's game MVP. |
Nationally televised from the United Center, the game gave players a chance to show the nation what they had been up to in practice.
Play was ragged at times, as per usual with All-Star games. But there was still plenty to see.
There's no question that Gordon had a very fan-friendly and entertaining outing. Of his 10 buckets, nine were dunks and a few were of the spectacular variety. The 6-foot-8 forward from San Jose (Calif.) Mitty also showed off his handle and had fun playing to the crowd.
